We are so excited to present our second annual bake-off competition! Enter the contest and bring in your favorite cookie or bar cookie on Saturday, November 10th for a chance to win great prizes!
This contest is for home bakers only. It is not open to professionally trained bakers. The Northshire Bookstore Cookie Bake Off is a recreational event, all proceeds of which are being donated to the Community Food Cupboard. Although prizes may be awarded to individual entrants, there is no guarantee of any entry being awarded a prize. Entrants agree to provide enough of their baked good to provide samples to at least 80 people. Grand prize winner, as determined by a panel of professional bakers, will be named “Northshire's Best Baker” with newspaper promotion to follow. All entrants agree to have their name published in publicity releases subsequent to this event. Other prizes may be awarded
Bakers will arrive to set-up at 12:30. At 1:00, customers can purchase tickets to sample the goods and vote on favorites. Milk will be provided! Official judges will be introduced and will taste, discuss and determine their winners. At the end of the bake-off, the winners will be revealed and prizes distributed.
Among the celebrity judges will be Amy Chamberlain from The Perfect Wife and Tavern, Jacki Baker of Mother Myrick's Confectionery, and Patti Fortuna-Stannard from Fortuna's Sausage!
